Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Learning and Machine Learning) is a 4-year, 8-semester Undergraduate program aimed at studying, designing, developing, implementing, support and management of computer-based information systems. Students under this course learn advanced learning solutions imparting knowledge of advanced innovations like machine learning, often called deep learning and artificial intelligence. This programme is designed to bridge the gap between software analysis and hardware design in lucrative fields such as machine learning, data science, Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence, etc. This programme aims to offer a thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of software systems and their hardware implication in the purview of embedded system design. This programme addresses the interest of a wide audience of learners whose interests are versatile and interdisciplinary for hardware design as well as software analysis.

Bachelor of Technology (BTech) Automobile Engineering

Course Details:

This program is jointly conducted by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru and ARAI, Pune to develop a new breed of engineers required for the ever-expanding automotive industry. They thrive to improve the technical and professional skills of the students through various teaching methods, hands-on and out-of-class education. They give more stress to project-based learning that integrates research, education and outreach.
ARAI has deputed one of its faculty members as Resident Faculty Member as its cost for coordinating and delivering lectures to the students to this program in person or through WEBEX. The initial intake of students will be a maximum of 60 in number per batch as per AICTE Norms. Successful candidates of the program will be awarded B.Tech (Automotive Engineering) degree with the notation “In Academic Collaboration with ARAI”. Job placement for the graduates of the programme will be facilitated by the University and ARAI jointly.
In collaboration with ARAI, similar facilities of ARAI are being built at Faculty of Engineering for the students to get the latest training, which will help them to meet the requirements of the Automotive Industry.

ELIGIBILITY to apply for Engineering in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore:

Eligibility for all the above-mentioned programmes is a pass at the +2 level (Karnataka PUC / ISC / CBSE / NIOS / State Boards) in any stream (Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce & Management, Sciences) from any recognized Board in India.

Candidates writing the +2 examinations in March-May may apply with their class X and XI marks.

Note: Candidates should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at +2 level and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 50% in Mathematics.

Students pursuing an International curriculum must note that eligibility is according to AIU stipulations:

Applicants pursuing IB curriculum must have 3 HL and 3 SL with 24 credits.

Applicants pursuing GCE / Edexcel must have a minimum of 3 A levels with a grade not less than C.

 

Application Process for Engineering in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore:

Applicants may apply for the programme from first week of December, when applications are available online on the University website till the date applications officially close.

Applications for each programme will close approximately a week before the scheduled selection process.

All applicants must visit the page: https://appstat.christuniversity.in and register by entering NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card), EMAIL-ID and set a password.  (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages). An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

For NRI Students:

Students who fall under any of the following classifications can apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the programme

  1. NRI defined under the Indian Income Tax Law
  2. Either of the parents is outside India (except Nepal) on Work Permit / Resident Permit.
  3. Indian citizen financed by any Institution/agency outside India, even if parents are Residents of India.
  4. Indian Citizen who has pursued studies for qualifying examination in any foreign / Indian syllabus outside India.

Lateral Entry:

Candidates who have successfully completed the 3-year diploma in Engineering are eligible to apply for lateral entry into engineering programmes.

 

Selection Procedure for Engineering in CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore:

There is an online, Internet-Based Entrance Test. The shortlisted candidates are intimated about the Personal Interview and Micro Presentation date and time through their registered email id and SMS.
